5th May 2012 marks the 2,556th Year of Buddha Era. As a Buddhist, I celebrate this festival to commemorate  the birth, enlightenment, and death of the Buddha. 4th May 2012, Wesak's eve, ending the year with celebrating Wesak's eve at Buddhist Gems Fellowship (BGF), joining in the Puja, listening to Bro Benny Liow's talk and capped with performance by iGemz. iGemz Naughty Aiden 5th May 2012, starting the new year in the morning at BGF, with lots of activities planned by BGF such as morning puja, performance by the iGemz kid, talk, blessing (get a red string ) and lunch dana. April 28, 2012 will forever be etched into my heart. This is the day I stand up for what I believe in as a Malaysian, and the day I walk with ten of thousands of Malaysian. A peaceful start   My day started early in the morning when I get out from my house at around 9.30am. Fearing that there will be road blocks, I insist of fetching a friend of mine, ON in Cheras and not meeting him in the city. From there, we proceed toward the capital. To make a long story short, after some difficulties (driving, walking and taking bus), we manage to reach the cordoned-off Dataran Merdeka around 12.00pm. There is festive-like atmosphere and the crowd is enjoying themselves taking pictures, sight-seeing and chatting around. We joined the crowd, took pictures and walking around Dataran Merdaka due to the fact that we cannot enter  the square. Walking around, I cannot help to realise that every races is there attending this so-called rally. What a sights to behold!!! A...

1st run of the year, participating in 10km and without any preparation, my timing suck big time. The run is held at National Stadium Bukit Jalil on 11th March 2012. Personally, I think the organisation is not really good compare to Malakoff and Adidas KOTR that I attended last year. I am stuck at the starting point for 4 minutes before I reach the starting line. The first kilometer is a nightmare because there are too many peoples aroun d and I am not able to even jog at all. My first and last BLIND DATE -.- It all started with a simple message to my WhatsApp on the fateful day, 30 Jan 2012 at 1.59pm. Friend: Yong Wei, are you attached? Me: No, any girl to intro? Friend: Yes, I am thinking of setting you up with a friend. Me: -.-''' OK. Let me know then. So, my adventure begin. My friend exchanged our h/p numbers and me, as a guy send SMSes to her to arrange the location, date and time for the blind date. On that fateful day, as nervous as I am, I remind myself that this is just a simple meet-up with a new friend. Seriously, I am so friendly that I don't think I cannot handle this meet-up. How wrong can I be. The whole date took less than 1 hour. We met at Parkson entrance and decided to go to Fullhouse for lunch. From the first impression, I can see that she is a very quiet person, shy and timid. But seriously, if a girl agree to go out for a blind date, at least she is ready to communicate. But then... During the date: 1. My questions came...

Sometimes I wonder whether it's just a crush or I already fall in love with you. I know we are not meant to be together for you are too good to be true. Thanks for all the time that you spend with me. The memories will be kept in my heart for as long as my heart is beating.

Although I feel 11.11.11 is too overrated, I think I should at least do something to commemorate this day. Here will be a list of ELEVEN places that I wish I can visit before I leave this world. Hopefully I will be able to achieve my dream =) 1. Everest Base Camp - already in my plan for 2012. *Finger crossed* 2. Niagara Fall. - next trip to US, I must go. 3. Mauritius - not sure why, just know that this is in my mind since childhood. 4. Eiffel Tower - must visit when I go Europe. 5. Bora-Bora Island - one of the most amazing island in the world. 6. Maui - Pirate of The Caribbean's fault. 7. Pyramid - top in my list as the wonder of the world. 8. Taj Mahal - one word, ROMANTIC. 9. Maldives - in my honeymoon's plan. 10. Listening to this song, I cannot help to ponder how much effort and time should a guy give before finally giving up? Someone once say that guy easily give up when facing rejection or when there is no progress in capturing the heart of his dream girl but if that is the reality, shouldn't he just let go and wish for the happiness for the girl? If he know he will not be able to achieve the expectation of the girl, he is actually doing the right thing and not being selfish of just wanted to be together with the girl.
